Four-sided Planer. Automated and precise.
On our four-sided planer, solid wood parts are planed flat on all four sides with absolute precision, in one pass. The machine features ten spindles, four vertical, five horizontal and one universal spindle. A large number of processes are thus possible in just one pass. Once a workpiece has been planed, it is stacked fully automatically. And this with up to 30 pieces per minute. The stacker allows the machine to be operated by just one person. The settings of the planing and cutter heads (i.e., the tool data) are memorized and can be reused with absolute precision.

The moulder (4-sided planer) is a key machine in production. It is where the great value is added by producing a profiled strip or cleanly planed slat from a raw cut part. The Unimat is used both for smaller quantities and for industrial and economical series production. Various applications can be covered with it, no matter whether moulding production, in window construction, beam planning, in flooring production or just preplanning.
Generally, all parts must be planed on at least two sides for further processing, so that they can then be glued or further processed, e.g., on the CNC.
The advantages of the Unimat 23 are clearly the high performance, flexibility, high precision and quality when planning and that the machine can be operated by one person. The machine also guarantees a high level of work safety, as the cutting area is completely sealed off by the cabin.
