UNIQUE: THE HÜSLER NEST SPRING ELEMENT
Profitable mass-production of the highest quality in solid wood? It is possible. Thanks to the latest technology and broad knowledge, we manufacture Trimelle slats for the Hüsler Nest spring element. Over the last six months, we have been able to produce and deliver many hundreds of thousands of Trimelle slats with our cutting-edge four-sided planer.
We are proud to count Hüsler Nest among our clients. Both companies put the emphasis on what is natural. The traditional company developed the heart of every Hüsler Nest over 30 years ago: the patented Liform spring element. You should feel really safe and well inside it, like being outdoors in nature.
The Trimelle – a challenging mass-produced product
Our team manufactures the so-called Trimelle for Hüsler Nest, an important part of the spring element. 80 pieces are needed per element (40 above and 40 below). The spring element is noticeably more comfortable than usual slatted frames because pressure is spread evenly over the entire surface of the bed. A Trimelle consists of triple glued solid wood strips that draw away the moisture produced by night sweat. The wood strips are very sturdy, allowing slim construction.
The Trimelle is a very demanding mas-produced product because each order amounting from 4,000 to 16,000 pieces must be delivered within a short period of time. This means perfect timing for our team with constant monitoring of stocks.
Absolute precision thanks to the latest technology
For production we use our FOUR-SIDED PLANER that planes the part smooth on all four sides in a single pass. We use special knife heads to manufacture the Trimelles that were developed with a specialist especially for this purpose over many months.
Profitability and the highest quality
During the first six months of 2018, we were already able to deliver several hundred thousand Trimelles. The main challenge was to manufacture the product profitably and to deliver it in the required very high quality. For all the parameters to match with absolute precision, lots of knowledge and the right machines are necessary. Our long-term staff and our CUTTING-EDGE MACHINE PARK make it possible for us to carry out this order.
