Prix Montagne 2020.
In our last blog, we reported about our nomination for the Prix Montagne, which honours successful companies in the mountain region. We, the team of vonrickenbach.swiss ag, had applied with our latest energy project and made it to the final selection. Unfortunately, it wasn’t quite enough for a win in the end, but we are very proud to be one of the six nominees out of more than forty companies.
PRIX MONTAGNE 2020 AWARD CEREMONY
On 10 December 2020, my father Paul von Rickenbach and I were able to be present at the award ceremony for the Prix Montagne 2020 in Berne. We had applied for the award with our energy project, which tributes the achievements of our company and in particular my father’s visionary and innovative actions 20 years ago and made it to the final. The overall objective of the Prix Montagne is to honour successful projects which make a direct contribution to value creation and job development or to the diversification of economic structures in the Swiss mountain regions. We are delighted to be able to make our contribution to this and will continuously following our chosen path. Our heartfelt thanks to all those who voted for us. Unfortunately, we were not the winner of the PRIX MONTAGNE 2020, but it was an interesting experience and good publicity for our company and its innovative energy strategy.

Reviews and prospects
2020 was not an easy year for any of us. However, our company was in the fortunate position of being able to work and realise many interesting projects in compliance with the Corona protection measures. We will continue to pursue our strategy consistently in the coming year 2021 and look forward to implementing challenging new projects with new, additional employees.
